Raphaël Pluvinage’s work unveils the social, aesthetic and political implications of contemporary technological systems. With Marion Pinaffo, he founded in 2015 the studio Pinaffo — Pluvinage. Whether an object, a game, an installation or a film, their projects all stem from a world where technology is turned on its head. Always joyful and deceptively child-like, they create a world where pleasure, play and experience become so many tools to engage the audience into the exploration of intangible phenomena.

Their work was shown at the Gaité Lyrique (Paris), at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs (Paris), at the Centre Pompidou (studio 13-16). Marion and Raphaël have been laureates of the Audi Talents Awards in 2016. In 2018, they explored the laws of physics, digital technology and electronics in a solo show at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs et du Design (Bordeaux).
